I myself own a Lumia 820 with WP8.1 (DevPreview) and had hoped that these functions are perhaps supported because all headphones that I had at home, and easily worked. Unfortunately, I was disappointed!
The headphones, for my personal feeling, a balanced sound and powerful bass. The ambient sounds are wonderfully muted by the included essays.
From the sound of her I would like to keep, but the remote control does not manage to pass even one information to the phone, which can be processed. Neither volume up / down, still start / stop or answer a call works.
