The Neewer flash here is referred to as HSS and compatible with a price of less than 70, I wanted to get it a try.
In short order the part and already arrived a short time later.
That part makes at first sight a bad impression, not mega quality but also no full cucumber. So processed for the price accordingly and functional. Beautifully also the built-diffuser, the white reflector and a small slip-Bouncer. Also included is a pouch for transport as well as the base and a small guide in English.
Until then, so everything in the solid framework.
So then it went off, I wanted to use the part on my Pocket Wizards ... already mounting on the hot shoe of the Wizards proved significantly schwieriegr as the original Nikon SB600 flash system.
According to instructions of the flash automatically switches on when it detects the HSS Camera also in HSS (FP mode) is located. Unfortunately, this happened in several attempts only once very briefly - after that I could not achieve the HSS symbol on the flash again. In other words: The HSS ability was not given in the case.
Worse, even the normal trigger via radio about the Pocket Wizards at shutter speeds below 1 / 200s only worked sporadically and completely inconsistent - a game of chance. At first I thought that probably. the PocketWizard has a Macke - but once I had reassembled the original Nikon SB600 - everything worked flawlessly and without any problems until the shutter of my camera limit of 1 / 4000s
So for radio trigger stories in connection with the Pocketwizzard seems part here completely useless! For me, unfortunately, failed. Too Bad.
2 points there are ultimately only of supply and the price and the flash part ... in my case, the flash goes back.
