It should be noted that compatibility before, would have thought that this device works with all vorgäner NEX models, it also works with the NEX 7, but this is unfortunately not the case. But as I also a NEX 3 and possess the equipment works there properly I have not returned it.
So I can only recommend the product description in advance to read exactly, was my mistake. Otherwise this article is quite OK.
