Unfortunately not compatible with MR300 Telekom (IPTV Receiver)

I bought the machine, because my TV has only one HDMI input and I wanted to connect a DVD player, and a new Apple TV next to Entertain media receiver Telekom (MR300). After I had already read through several reviews, I decided on this unit, as most other offered already pointed to compatibility issues particularly with Apple TV. Surprisingly, I had no problems here. The device can passing the signals properly and there was no loss of quality in picture and sound. Unfortunately, this is quite different to the media receiver, the first works easily and also a very good picture and sound signal is passed through. If you switch to another, however, to the HDMI port, immediately captures the HD display in the MR300 to blink and the device makes no response any longer. Only one off the power supply and the resulting approximately 5 minutes lasting re-initialization (reboot) of the media receiver ends the problem. There are meanwhile repeatedly and very briefly displays error messages that indicate a problem with HD signals and the copy protection (HDCP) indicate. Neither the exchange of HDMI cables, yet the switch the receiver from 1080p to 720p or off the copy protection have been able to resolve the issue. Now I am afraid to look any further, or initially re-plugging the HDMI cable to the respective device, which I want to run. After thorough research in various internet forums, however, has confirmed that the problem probably lies in the MR 300 and not on the switch.

Otherwise, the unit makes a good impression processed and works without power supply, which is only required for long HDMI cables. The red Power LED is something glaringly bright and would if necessary. Are sealed. The used ports are automatically detected and can be both on the device, as well as a hand-held transmitter to other ports switch. The FB responded only on very short distance, which probably was the charge of the battery, since I probably send back the device again, I have not yet examined further. Because the device could not solve all my problems, I can unfortunately only four stars awarded, for processing and compatibility with Apple TV, as well as excellent sales process, coupled with a real interest in solving the problem of its customers through the store Converter king.
