Practical and well, with small imperfections

After years with a SD beamer I have allowed myself now moving to Full HD. The focus was on the brightness and short throw capability with me. I am among those whose living room has to serve as a home theater and set the projector as required on the table. After more than 50 hours movie, my conclusion:

+ Stunning HD picture (at approx. 117 '' on the wall), each "pore" in BD visible.
+ Madness brightness, even in the daytime living room fully compatible!
+ Short distance between the unit and screen (with me approx. 3.2 m)
+ Very small and light
+ Little ambient light (what appears from the projector)
+ My sensitive women have been able to find no rainbow effect.

- Piano lacquer, every fingerprint visible
- No adjustment in the horizontal, I have to actually put a CD sleeve underneath.
- No cover off the lens.
- Connection via USB works ad hoc not ... is not even needed.

3D I have not tried, because the brightness would but bring benefits. The noises I am "neutral": In normal mode and audibly louder than my "old" Beamer. In Eco mode only audible to me, if I pay attention. However, the shortcomings for me are devaluing no reason, especially when considering the price.

Update now to 250 film hours:
I'm still excited, and 3D works very well. The active 3D glasses does not interfere and does its job. I had, however, necessarily the image enhancer (Deep Color) off the BD player, otherwise there was an ongoing interference to disconnect.
