Asus delivers against both inside and outside a good quality. The housing endures what and the screen is razor sharp.
The processor does a good job and is with his performance a fairly fast processor entry. For Internet, office applications, small graphics programs and movies no problem. Similarly, the NVIDIA graphics card; it is classified in the middle class and does a good job. Nevertheless, the X70 rather not a gamer notebook is (I guess so). I think older games run without problems, but with red-hot with many details the X70 should reach its limits.
With the Explorer in Windows 7 I had to make friends, as diehard XP Professional Licensees I had my best to understand the logic of me. This has nothing to do with the notebook itself, but I wanted to have mentioned it.
The included facial recognition software from Asus gives me also a few puzzles; I find my fingerprint recognition system on my "old" Asus somehow easier to understand and somehow sympathetic. But that is certainly very subjective.
Supplied with a mini Bluetooth adapter (USB) was still in the process, which is not present in the product description.
And do not worry before that the notebook is not purely black: The Brown is very dark and looks really elegant and somewhat cool. As I could see the label on the notebook, this design has also received the Red Dot Design Award 2009 - rightly m. E ..
I forgive only one reason not five star: the battery life. At just 1.5 hours, the notebook is more of a desktop replacement, since you already need an electrical outlet nearby. Because unfortunately 1.5 hrs rich not even. For a complete feature film.
All thing one considers the price and does not depend on the battery life, this notebook is thoroughly recommended. Strong buy recommendation from me!
