Because of the good reviews and the interesting price we bought these two HDMI cables.

It may be that the cable in another constellation work fine, in our case, unfortunately not.

A direct comparison with an AmazonBasics HDMI cable (qid = 1389300103 & sr = 8-4 & keywords = AmazonBasics + HDMI) has shown that with the AmazonBasics HDMI cable the Bluray player could be displayed at any time without any problem on the TV, when using the reviewed here HDMI cable has the work only from time to time. No cable is connected: In most cases the message appeared. (The cable was repeatedly on TV and Bluray player and plugged and checked, so we rule out an incorrect wiring).

Our conclusion: Better a few euros more to spend on the AmazonBasics HDMI cable when to get angry, because the unit does not drive.
