As usual with this band, you get a great album played. With me was the only downer that I had previously purchased from the same tape, the CD "Mercy Mercy". And this set the bar so high that the "Swingin 'New Big Band" just not as good came away as she deserved it.
Conclusion: Really good big band CD, but if you want to buy the first Buddy Rich CD, I would recommend the "Mercy Mercy".
