The formation is from the eastern Austria and you can tell by the music already clearly the proximity to Hungary. And Bohemia and Moravia are geographically even more far enough away. The stylistics as well as the re (partially mixed very heavy for clarinet brass music) show that, depending on the title Hungarian temperament or the "Bohemian, Moravian and soul".
That this band knows their stuff, you can hear at each title. Because there is the sound, the intonation and the rhythms nothing to complain about.
The selection is very varied and no title falls somewhere from.
In addition to classics such as the "bird meadow" or "grass widower" (this is played to me personally too fast - but that's a matter of taste) you'll hear Moravian pearls such as "Uplakana" by Antonín Zvácek or "Emma Polka" or the Bohemian Classic " chat "by Karel Valdauf.
Sound very interesting the title "You're alone," and "love for all of life's", which already has recorded Mosch. The vocals sound this is not necessarily "beautiful" (not meant negatively), but very unspoiled and unsophisticated, what I really like.
For the march joy be with the "Gyulai March" (wonderfully played "Hungarian") and "Cervinkuv" (also known as "Regimentsparade" - turn by Antonín Zvácek) also offered two cream pieces.
The remaining items are, as already mentioned above, all of them worth hearing. Especially here stands out perhaps the "Holiday Polka" (Na dovolené) by Zdenek Gurský.
This production is one of my favorite band music productions and will not be bored even after the umpteenth Listen. Who his (Brass Band) ears something will treat another, which was very warmly recommended this production.
