OK, songs like "Dawn" or "I'll see you, hear you, feel" are not bad but not necessarily Puhdys.
Quaster can sing quite well, but too much but this time is really "too much"!
If I buy a CD Puhdys I want to hear the voice of the machine and. Not only in the newly prepared songs which machine had not re-sung by my knowledge, but also in new songs 2-3 Quaster songs would indeed be in order, but not on this scale.
At the two previous albums December day and December nights this winter album does not come close. Bad it is not complete, but as I said, it is used to. Dieter Birr had demanded a break according to the management and wanted to recover from the work of the last album "It was nice", but which is still only just under 1 year old. Would it not have been better to publish the album until December or even next year at Christmas? Since the machine had more time to work on the songs and sing well with one or the other song.
The last album had also leave quite a long time coming, but it was worth it after all.
Anyway, I can at least recommend to anyone "Normal listeners" who wants to listen to carols and times simply contemplative texts in winter the CD. As you here on the new album gets to hear just as in the two predecessors original compositions and lyrics and not a new infusion of "Oh Holy Night" or "every year" offers.
For proper Puhdys fans I would recommend the CD to the waiting time for a hopefully "Standart Excessive" and especially rocking album ala "Everything has its time" to bridge or indeed on the upcoming solo CD from Dieter Birr. Here you will then certainly hear songs by and with the machine! :)
