Ready to use with Mac OSX and Windows

The product is absolutely awesome. I immediately tried it with Mac OSX 10.9 Maverick (Mac Air 1.4GHz, 2GB RAM, 64SSD, Late 2010) and Windows 8.1 (Toshiba Satellite, 1.6 Dual Core, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, BJ ca. 2006). It is now (in my case it was not even 3 seconds) use without driver installation or configuration. Plug & Scan :-) .A configuration would also be on resolved scan codes if possible to scan special codes.

The scanner is silently beeps when turned on and when scanning as loud as an average set supermarket Pieper. A green LED that lights up less than a smartphone display indicates whether it is turned on. The laser is red and good for orientation. The unit is turned on as long as the USB dranhängt on PC. The device constantly rotates a mirror. The device has a network connector output, the supplied cable is a network-USB cable. I suspect that the application was originally designed for scanners on the network.

The number and character output is very fast with an employee Enter. I could make the same barcode scanning approximately 1 / second. Different codes are likely to be the same fast, with good motor skills ;-). My scan test I carried out with Editor and TextEdit. But there is every normal text box or word processor. The scanner is in the end only a keyboard with a quick Mainzelmännchen it.

The scanner is available in three rubberized dots on the handle-end and side of the scan window. Even my big hand is good place and Halt.Die processing is normal plastic. The weight is medium easy, not easy and also not normal for a scanner. Somehow in between, in any case very pleasant. The supplied cable is highly insulated / designed very thick and for heavy-duty use.
