"Rock Or Bust" the new album of AC / DC comes after the harrowing news about the health of Malcolm Young, founder member. The group still took the devil by the horns and continue the adventure (with the approval of Malcolm), with the enthronement of (former Starfighters), their nephew Stevie Young on rhythm guitar whom had already repaired tour (there could be no better choice to continue the legacy of AC / DC). The group did not otherwise have created upheaval. "Rock Or Bust" is still mixed by Mike Fraser and produced by Brendan O'Brian, and despite the problems that have been added since, it's Phil Rudd is on drums. The eleven tracks (still credited to the Young brothers), had an average of three minutes for an album that exceeds in just thirty four, avoiding the risk of gorging. Brian Johnson is equal to itself, Cliff Williams bass advantageously mixed, rhythmic always remain as itchy. "Rock Or Bust" and "Play Ball" the first two extracts are as good as brief. The Angus guitar parts (maybe not quite put forward) are present, whether on "Rock The Blues Away" "Miss Adventure" or causing "Sweet Candy", even if they are short of of the length of the assembly. Other pieces are worth remembering because the album is getting stronger as and extent of the securities, with the effective "Dogs Of War" and "Got Some Thunder Rock & Roll" (which have new classic tunes) or the little "Hard Times" and "Baptism By Fire" which pound the nail, and demonstrate that the formula of the group endures no matter what. "Rock The House" and "Emission Control" without being more fundamental still have that groove hard and very present blues. Despite the difficult times that saw the band, AC / DC balance a "Rock Or Bust" not revolutionary but effective, which without these key brain nest not bad.
