So classic, but definitely still good!

The German brand Hape Toys product since 1986 wooden toys. Thanks to a partnership with UNESCO since 2005 (no less!), This company has grown by focusing on the motto "sustainability, education, innovation and entertainment." Here, it is an adaptation of the play of forms in which the child must receive passing said forms (rectangle, triangle, square and circle) through the small rods which obstruct the passage of the latter.

This game is part of classic wooden games. Colorful, simple design and always intriguing and / or interesting for children, my great length had already released this game made by a competitor. Also, Hape only reproduces identical concept, and thus the interest of the game. And in fact, from that side, we find no surprise (and accordingly no bad!).

The main novelty here is constituted by the fact that the plate with the spikes is separated into four and takes the form of a puzzle. It's fun and it brings a little change that we know. Said puzzle is quite simple to reproduce with wide notches (to say, my eighteen months of son has more trouble with the integration of forms with the reconstruction of the puzzle). However, a practical point of view, two opposing points are worth considering. First of all, every day is very painful because you absolutely can not take all at once, since the pieces are very loose them. So, change of place, it's pretty chi ***. Really. For cons, the positive side, you can board a piece of the puzzle with only a form for a drive, for example. What occupies my son very well, and makes the handheld gaming ... (and that the others do not!).

Ultimately, these small risks associated with this slight change does not bring to real consequence in my opinion. Next what each search, he can direct his choice on a classic board game or more innovative (but less convenient strictly indoor use). Still, the bottom line is of course elsewhere, namely a very fun game that allows children to work several senses at once, while having fun. And this version by Hape does just as well as its competitors.
