STREET BY 50 | Star Wars First Edition | Galactic good headphones (Review)

The front and the left side of the box adorns each a picture of the headphone and the silvery Star Wars logo. On the right side which is emblazoned on the respective Edition matching artwork. The back describes the multilingual delivery of the box.

The chic slipcase can easily slide up from the box. The actual packaging is made of matt-blue cardboard with shiny SMS Audio logo on the front. An ingenious locking mechanism makes two incorporated magnets that can open the box and resealed without damaging them. The box can then be set up to the left, like a great book. An artwork on the inside shows the design of the other headphones from the Star Wars First Edition. In addition to the here tested Edition Rebel Alliance, there is also the editions Stormtrooper, Galactic Empire and Boba Fett. Product description, manual plus some extras put in a cardboard flap attached internally. The headphones themselves are in a large stable and egg-shaped shell with Star Wars logo. This bag is not only the packaging but also to store and protect the headphones. It is very robust, can be opened by a zipper and close and provides adequate protection against shocks. This envelope can be transported headphones easily.

The brackets are held in dark and dull gray, the pads in a lighter leather. As nice as the packaging of the headset looks like, the brackets are not shiny silver, like the box it pretends. On the orange outsides turn emblazoned in gray logo of the Rebel Alliance. Nice detail are the decorative stitching in the cushions, which pick up the orange color. On the upper strap emblazoned nor the SMS Audio logo and on the inside of the bracket, not visible when the headphones are worn, the street by 50 and the Star Wars logo. The cable way, is white with orange applications.

Processing:
The headphones are a bit more difficult than expected and feel very valuable. The matt-gray plastic temples are stable, but flexible enough to be the head shape optimally adapt. Both ends of the headphones can be folded inwards to space-saving storage in the supplied bag. The folding mechanism works also very high quality and locks into place when open automatically. Of course, the headphones can be pulled out in several stages, so that they fit well on a big rebellious head. The upholstery on the head and ears are thick, soft and not lose even after prolonged wear their shape.

Sound:
The on-ear headphones do not enclose the ear, but sitting right on her. This makes them not so good from tight against noise, such as those headphones that completely enclose the ear. Nevertheless, the insulation is sufficient, for example, hide the conversations of other passengers on the train. This is further helped that the street by 50 can be noisy right, but then heard other passengers with. The headphones are really fun especially with loud electronic and bass-heavy music.
