The hard lenses (and only rigid gas permeable lenses, no soft or even daily disposable) must be cleaned after a necessary pre-cleaning with normal care products through the 2-component system Menicon maximum. A pre-cleaning is therefore necessary so that the cleaning liquid can come into full effect immediately and is not impregnated by remnants of tear fluid.
After about 30 minutes can / should you take the lenses from the cleaning and thoroughly rinse with cold water (to neutralize the acid residues). During the 30 minutes you can rotate the container with care shortly (once or twice) so that the mixing of the liquid and the liquid can work optimally to the lens. By the reaction in the vessel some heat will occur, this is normal. Then treat the lenses again with normal cleaners. The acid bath has cracked open and soaked the dried protein residues on the lens. These must now be down. The liquid has inked after 30 minutes slightly brownish. That's exactly og protein. Then you should treat yourself at least an hour in a neutralizing solution / storage solution the lenses yet. Then you can insert the lenses again and there should be no confusion by the acid treatment in the eye.
If you have forgotten the hard lenses in the container once it comes to a visually browning of the lens (which is the old egg). The lenses do not lose their optical properties and thus not able to be used. Look just not look so chic, but that's about it.
If your soft lenses Daily Disposable or treat such a cleaning bath is not to help you. If at all there anything in the container that is just ripe for the garbage and no longer belongs in the eye.
For all others: on the lens what is there something does not belong to him or it makes Progent finished off.
