For home, I invested in a Sennheiser RS 180: the slap, even though it is not an audiophile product: my speakers and listening room took a big slap. The musical message is clear, transparent, balanced, not overwhelming ... in a pleasant word :-)
So naturally, nomadic headphones at a reasonable cost were likely to take a whack at the comparative listening, knowing that I wanted to put a price comparable to the source (a Sansa Clip + 8 GB) ... Well not that much!
What surprised me about Klipsch are serious, it does not drop very low indeed, but it is very clean, not intrusive and again pleasant.
As against exceeding the medium I was disappointed from the comparison with the Sennheiser. It seemed choked me ... :-(
I did not immediately tilted to the fact that it could be corrected through simple EQ Sansa: + 3 + 4 on the penultimate band and + 5 + 7 on the last and balance is :-) much better right away.
This is also a chance, I think it is easier to balance on this spectrum than trying to reshape bass transducer on a poorly designed for that.
In short, extremely satisfied: with Sansa very homogeneous set at around 100 we have pleasure to take everywhere with you :-)
