Or how to make something new out of the old ... I'm not enough "expert" whether remastering worth buying, however, I see no real differences with remastering the album before (I mean the album including the box "Oh By the Way" ). The real interest lies in the "Live at Wembley" CD2. DVD1 is interesting for having a home theater version 5.1, otherwise I do not see the point alternative versions 448 or 640 kbps, and quad stereo mix? As for DVD2 and BLURAY, content is identical and necessarily, depending on the stage that one possesses, one of the two will be useless ... As for content, it is rather disappointing: 2 concerts including excerpts it begs the question whether it's really about concerts (public image that looks added at the end of the first song, and sync video / audio more than doubtful), a documentary ... dated 2003 !! and the videos projected during the concerts: nice but will not support more than one viewing and have a more anecdotal than real interest. Remains the last CD that is a bit level with a slightly different mix of the original album and some unpublished interesting (do not expect all the same you discover the gem!). I'm not even talking balls, coasters and frankly scarf whose quality is poor ...
... And it may be worse for 2 albums coming Immersion:
Wish You Were Here goes again with CD2 announced with excerpts from concerts and new versions. But like the dark side of the moon, the DVD will duplicate the BLURAY always with the films during concerts and the DVD Audio will only resume the album in 5.1 stereo and quad mix ...
I think we will bottom with The Wall: Virtually nothing to put in their mouths: CDs 3 and 4 will resume the demo of the album ... that is not finalized versions of the CD will resume the 5 and 6 'live album "Is There Anybody Out There" (remastered version anyway) tour The Wall 80-81 already out on the market ... so the heard. Remain the DVD with the video of Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 (already seen), a documentary, an interview and concert footage ... Then we could expect much better: where are the unreleased films of Alan Parker (When The Tigers Broke including Free)? And why not downright include the soundtrack of the film (with versions that were re-recorded for the occasion) and the DVD of a concert tour of The Wall that do not exist in trading?
