Today I had the opportunity to hear them in a direct comparison with the more than twice as expensive Shure E2c, and you want to hide not my result.
Preliminary but still to the partly expressed herein accusation that the Creative EP 630 brings too little bass: This may be due only to a bad position of the earphones in your ears. A closer fit me the bass is even almost too rich. I would test times the smaller gum and then put the parts in the correct ear.
So here's the comparison Creative EP 630 against Shure E2c:
Sound: The sound of the big picture is a little clearer E2c. In particular, the centers come across even more precise and clearer. For the Creative clearly the richer bass and compared to other earphones in the overall sound is still awesome.
Comfort: Both sit very comfortable in the ear and not press. The Creative has even closer to the ear, so that the total of Creative feels his little lighter weight even less.
Kalbel: The Creative has thinner, handy and flexible cable. The Shur thicker probably more stable and for purists perhaps sounded truer cable. Both are good. Ultimately this is a matter of taste.
Plug: Both are gold plated, the Creative is somewhat delicate. Both protect the cable from kinking well.
Overall, I would so buy me mainly because of significantly lower price back to Creative. If a money does not hurt for the Shure and one seeks a crystal clear and balanced sound, which must have the fat bass is not necessarily, then you should probably take the Shure.
