This instrument provides in this regard in all respects much more:
+ 60 Watt RMS - enough for a "normal" hearing over from
+ In the subwoofer integrated power supply with on / off switch and indicator
+ Each of the speaker cable and the connecting cable to the TV is plugged in. This means that all three boxes may be placed and then easily wired. Too short stripping without any problems with commercial RCA cables (male coupling) can be extended.

Not completely or not at all convinced of the following:

Costs and benefits

Cabling
If you flirt with it, upgrade your squawking TV sound with this system, they should consider whether the TV a headphone jack (usually surrounded green) is present. That should be a stereo mini jack, as they can also be found on virtually any PC. In this connector the plug of the main cable is (the one with the big volume knob) plugged. The connector on the other side come true colors (red / white) to the RCA sockets "B" (= input, see attached Quick Guide). The small satellite speakers receive their signal via the subwoofer socket pair "A" (Output).
The enclosed main cable can be risk-free way, through a separately purchased standard cable (2 RCA plugs 1 miniplug) replace. Then, of course, accounts for the large knob and the two jacks.
Service
My TV as well as this amplification system running the network side via a switchable radio connector. In this respect, I use the useful per se main switch on the subwoofer is not - it is always on. The volume on your TV I fix always on the TV remote control. Depending on the TV model, the function in different ways. In most cases however, a minijack be well when plugged into the headphone jack on the TV muted the internal speaker. And then the volume rocker switch automatically controls on the TV remote control (or on the device itself) only the level of the headphone output, so here then the input level for our active loudspeakers. The headphone jack on the cable containing their signal only from the audio source (TV or PC), not from the amplifier in the subwoofer. Therefore, the volume of a connected receiver there can only be regulated at the source itself. If you connect a headset there, our stereo is automatically muted.
Sound
What do you expect? A high-end sound ... well for 50 euros? Certainly not. Compared with the built-in almost all normal flat panel Mini Speaker Chassis these stereo sounds bombastic! However, the centers could be a bit more clearly come out. After all, have the two boxes in two ways, ie contain two LS chassis - since that should be given in principle. Decisive is after all not just the number of speakers, but their coordination with each other and the quality of the built-in crossovers. And all this is not to be had for free. So you have to make compromises and can not be compared with much more expensive and larger hi-fi speakers.
The quality of the subwoofer is clearly higher compared to the two satellite speakers. Anyone have two "old", but good pit a discarded stereo has left, she likes testweise connect instead of the supplied here. In order for the sound weakest link our plant could be perhaps more revalued.
The bass sound (ie the volume of the subwoofer) can be metered very fine on the appropriate regulator. Depending on your taste and tolerance of neighbors you can let it rumble tidy. This has then no longer much to do with high fidelity.
More than halfway need not turn up the bass control.
Summary
For my needs, such as a solid sound system of my flat screen TV, this product is ideal. The standard TV sound is very significantly upgraded and increased the enjoyment factor of DVD productions and TV shows considerably. Who speculates on cinema and surround sound and high-end, is here though not at its expense.
