PRO
- No power supply needed
- No drivers for MacOS 10.9 required
- You can simultaneously up to two external 2.5 hard drives that get power through USB to operate. In my case, WD 2TB Ultra 750Gb and Toshiba were (I tried also with three hard drives, since there are now disconnections)
- There is the Gigabit LAN at the HUB. For MBPr users a 29 savings because no Thundebolt Ethernet is no longer necessary.
- No loss of speed detected. Tested with Intel SSD in a USB 3.0 enclosure and Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive.
NEUTRAL
- At the HUB is a USB 3.0 B female and not USB 3.0 Micro. Beautiful wäer it with Micro connector, as many cables from other hard drives etc already exist.
