The good results are confirmed on a D90 Nikon mount:
Compact and lightweight, a little firm zoom ring, but no creeping, fast autofocus and very quiet.
The focus ring rotates during the search of the point, which is annoying when you have your fingers on, but not the front lens, allowing the use of a lens hood corolla, supplied as standard with the objective .
The stabilizer is very effective and virtually inaudible.
Development close to 250mm (about 40cm between the front lens and the subject): the crop region is less than 8cm wide.
Distortion and vignetting easily corrected with Photoshop.
Pumping like all super zooms: as and as we approach the subject, the actual focal length decreases (to 250mm, when doing development 30 meters, it fits well as a 250mm, but 5 meter, frame it as a 200mm, and 70cm, almost like a 135mm). But all the other 18-200 or 18-270 have this defect.
Finally, sharpness, which is really very good at all focal lengths given the zoom range.
Only regret: the zoom ring is operated in the opposite direction from that of Nikon zoom: Canon owners do not have this problem.
Overall a very good trans-standard extreme; on the D90, it is significantly better than the Nikon and very 18-200VR above Tamron 18-270PZD I used too.
