I have different grinding techniques through about Waterstones to Lansky Sharpening and now the blade Medic. The results with Lansky Sharpening (5 grindstones with bracket) are already very good, but even easier is sharpening the blade Medic. The cutting angle is indeed predefined and can not be varied, but the end results can be seen in consideration of the sharpening effort! It is important in sharpening that only with very little force (weight of the knife) is working. Then you can see the blade several times pass through the Carbide blades and then get to the ceramic rods to polish (again with little force). After about 5 min. has a straight 10 cm blade almost razor sharp. Those who want to achieve better results and will be variable during the cutting angle rather reach for Lansky with 5 stones. The sharpening serrated blades I have not yet tested. But for just (kitchen or leisure) knife I give an unqualified recommendation to buy.
