Less catchy and more lengths than the Distant Hours by the same author that I read too, The Mists of Riverton are talking a very aged lady who was a maid in an English castle in the early twentieth century and tells a slice of life of the family who lived in the castle at that time. A good retrospective of these years with an interesting vision of the First World War saw across the Channel, against the backdrop of a thwarted love story ....
