Used to place a SSD instead of Reader / Writer on my laptop Asus K72JT. The 2.5-inch hard drive between hair cell, moreover, there is 2 small screws to secure the hard drive into the adapter. I unscrewed a small bar behind my internal drive, this bar has 2 holes for the maintenance of the drive in the laptop, I could screw this bar on the adapter and therefore my adapter + SSD are maintained as the original drive. Finally, I unclipped facade and the internal drive reclipsé to the adapter, so, the changes are completely invisible.
Do not hesitate to replace your internal drive, which is used very rarely, an additional hard drive, or even an SSD for a gain enormous speed.
