The characters are interesting, police investigations bring some action and suspense stories, the heroes are protectors with heroines, couples are engaging and spend sensuality tenderness with spiced relations of a strand eroticism. Each story (which could have been more developed) reveals a different and opposite relation (the clash of "two strong characters who collide" for the 1st against "sweetness and worship idolatry or even" for the second): -The First story "The Gauntlet" is aptly named because the heroes have explosive characters and like to provoke each other while turning around. Their torque is proving very passionate, and despite the façade of "hard and insensitive character" they show apparently is perceived much affection between them. -The 2nd story "Hour of the Wolf" reveals courageous and strong characters in appearance but ultimately fragile enough internally from wounds of their childhoods and their past mainly due to bad parents. This is the revenge that will bring the premium on board (for Emily it comes to avenge his brother Judd disfigured and he wants to avenge the death of the man who gave it in the right way and that in adolescence it regards as a father). Revenge will meet and make the passion and desire they feel for each other and finally drew them together is love that will bring them together. Their relationship is very moving while being passionate in sensual moments.
In this book, Lori Foster has two more great stories that we have good memories after reading that will delight fans and allow to escape some hours.
