I bought this charger cable for the second time.
The first charging cable I had acquired on 11/13/2013 and has about half a year to work.
As I read from other reviews, the plug was hot and it smelled of scorched plastic.
Even my fuse was defective and it has also smelled scorched and as I put a new fuse of the same type, this was once again broken.
Why did I again decided yet for this charging cable is for the following reasons:
1. The cable is in my opinion in standard quality
2. The plug for Iphone fits well and is secured Duch brackets
3. The charging plug for the car can is stable even with me and sits also passable in my rifle.
4. The price (although I would even pay for 2 more if it works 100% in the long run and not just half a year.)
The new charging cable makes the moment sometimes bitches. My iPhone 4 is no longer loaded from a certain time although the rifle supplies voltage (LED lights also). It plays off and on my iPhone 4 a little crazy and sporadically get the message that this accessory is not supported. Its predecessor, this was not so (same article).
After taking the still tight plug from the car jack and have plugged back this a time is gone. Only it sucks when that happens under the car about 5 times on the highway!
Now I'm going to watch these quirks still few days.
I wonder, though messages coming here that plug scorched smell, why not incorporating parts with a bit better quality or that can withstand a little more. I think there would be many here pay quite 2 more.
Here is (seems to me so, otherwise the plug would not indeed go wrong) set on the cheap parts to sell for a price as much as possible can.
But manufacturers are not thinking about the vortlaufende reputation and customer opinions, otherwise would have been long ago something changed. This product is more of a Quantity product in which 80% NOT full quality value is placed.
Those who opt for this product, must be expected that it becomes defective after few months.
I'm going to try my product for a while, to see how the effects in the near future are.

ADDENDUM (06/06/2014):
The charging cable I have now tested two more days. As expected no improvement.
What I've found is that if I am male or cable slightly wobble, although the power LED lights (ie voltage is supplied), it goes back for a short time. I think there is a loose connection or cable break on output connector. I am going to order another charging cable of another manufacturer and have applied for the refund. What is positive is that I do not have to return the charger cable.
