This CD I had pre-ordered. The predecessor has always fascinated me and is one of my absolute Lieblingscds. Accordingly, the claims were so high on this album. That DJ Shadow is no longer there, you can hear very clearly, the style is different. Therefore, but not worse. Although me a track like "Bloodstain" on this CD but somehow lacking. The new Unkle plant reminiscent of its kind likely to Massive Attack's "Mezzanine" than to "Psyence Fiction". "Invasion" with the vocals of MA's 3D is of course the highlight. Gloomy and depressed it is because strongly reminiscent of the track "Butterfly Caught" from their current album "100th Window". But "in a state" is a very beautiful song that I think a piano sample of Massive Attack at the beginning and final use. This song is kept relatively melancholic, but one of the quieter pieces. That Unkle can also wilder, then prove with "Panic Attack", which has a bit .. well .. crazy psychedelic overbearing beginning has. But this is not meant negatively, everything is designed so wonderful to each other, and the melodic chorus at the end of the track draws a totally under his spell. Perhaps should also be mentioned that once again many prominent guests of the party, for me the most important Ian Brown, with his absolutely soothing but not bored voice. The album sounds quiet and typical "Unkle-melancholic" from with "Glow" and "Inside", which both produce a similar atmosphere. A beautiful album, but this time more Massive Attack style as Dj shadowing ". The wait was worth it, my claims were vollstens met.
