I have used it to fix power strips connected to my granite desk. That worked just fine. The manufacturer shows pictures with Fäusteln ... I would rather resort to a powerful magnetic rail. Because then I have nowhere annoying pimples, neither the handle nor the head. But there are certainly many applications where the tape still makes sense otherwise.
