Since 2 weeks I am with the Sony A7 II go. Here is a brief report:
After watching me various adapters for my old Minolta MD / MC, Nikon F Ai and Sigma Minolta bought lenses, the lenses tested successively with the Sony A7 II and times amazed very pleased with the 3/5 axis image stabilizer had (yes even 30 years old have lenses Now a 3-axis image stabilizer hehe :-)) were the first photos and videos taken with it.
The first recordings were delighted me, the camera really forgive very much to glitches in video mode and some jerky camera work!
Next, I have yet the latest firmware (1.10) downloaded from the Sony page.
After that, the image stabilizer worked even much better (Videos are now looking at halfway a quiet camera work included like with Steadycam)!
The A7 II is really very good in the hand, especially with smaller lenses (35mm, 50mm, ...) the camera feels like an old analog camera (just with the big difference that there is a Live View incl. Edge enhancement, SteadyShot, 50p Full HD video mode, filter effects, OLED viewfinder and much more are :-))!
The noise performance of the camera is with the A7 comparable (a little software has been optimized, sensor is the same), and for me is more than enough (Use ISO 100-1600).
By AF fine adjustment (under Settings / 5 page / AF Micro once. To see the menu) can be Minolta A, SONY A, SIGMA A and Tamron A lenses in conjunction with the LA-EA3 and LA-EA4 adapter with fehlfokus +20 Set to -20!
From me the camera gets 5 stars and a definite buy recommendation!
Once the new FE lenses are available I will make 1-2 purchases here.
