My taste in music I would not necessarily describe but easy. I do not like Tango, too much but again, jazz and film music, Bossa Nova but no salsa tooting, good mood rhythms but no electronic music. In Tango Café Las Sombras I thought the CD have been made just for me. Already the new recording by Yann Thiersens Vals d`Amelie I think almost better than the original. The Habanera from Bizet's so successful arrangement with Latin grooves and geimnisvollem intro that even these "picked" number intrigued when you hear it for the first time. Above all, the flawless playing of the musicians of Las Sombras, which is so loosely combined with seemingly inexhaustible ideas make Tango Café for me the best of what has long been turned into my CD player. I like it when people do something with absolute dedication and passion that truly takes you these five musicians from. Even with the presentation of the CD (very classy!) One has made an effort. PS: The group has only made apparently the second CD, unfortunately, the first one is not available. Had me very interested.
