Very mixed reviews for Western Digital NAS box. On one side is the promised simplicity there, the network installation is painless, the program for the PC (tested under WinXp ... sorry) works and gives you access to all housing adjustment parameters and access to stored documents. The storage capacity is impressive (mode data 2TB "twin disc" to ensure the sustainability of files, 4TB in standard mode. BIG POSITIVE POINT for the smartphone application "WD Photos" (tested for Android and iOS), which allows both to check photos and archive photos online remotely. Very good speed (1Gb / s theoretical through a powerful switch, the only limit is the speed of the hard drive, several GB of data in minutes, nothing to do with USB) BUT: I had disconnections, impossible in smartphone remote access, the disk disappears from the "My Records" section on the Freebox Player ... (fault to the NAS or the Freebox?) BRIEF produced simplissime Fantastic, and for home use (this is my first NAS before I was content to an HDD connected to the USB port of the Freebox), a little trickier to configure for use "Cloud People" The ease of access runs quickly to tons of options barbarous names (protocols & Co) as soon as you want to go beyond the use "simple" storage.
