I needed oa battery for a garage door remote controls. The battery was delivered on in its original packaging. I have used the battery in the transmitter and the first function of the remote control was restored. After just 2 weeks of hand transmitter but again had no function. I have removed the battery and then tested with a battery tester. The indicator was 0.0 volts. Then I have a still in the original packaging battery that I have received along with 1 battery removed from the package and immediately tested with the battery tester. The display of these "new" 6 V battery was only 3.6 V. I have now used the battery in the hand-held transmitter for my garage, but I am sure that in a few days and this battery does not work anymore. I can not judge whether this is an unfortunate coincidence, the two supplied batteries provide only a fraction of their power or whether deliberately short supply ships. Make yourself your judgment.
