After a week of empty - or maybe not?

After charging I wanted to do a week later recordings with this battery. But lo and behold: The TZ7 reported "Battery empty" and appeared on cue again. Immediately after charging the battery (TZ7 with firmware 1.1) worked flawlessly, the charge indicator showed full charge. Batteries with such a high self-discharge are not uncommon in this area (Replacement), since the cells are often quite inferior. Quality comes at a price just yet, which unfortunately is quite excessive at Panasonic. I will nevertheless inevitably draw back to the original.

Addendum: Obviously invites the Panasonic power supply can cause the battery immediately fully on - anyway, I repeated charging meantime 2x and since then this battery behaves like the original. It is currently in any case no coarser self-discharge detected. So: If the part is still completely new, not necessarily trust the charger (the first charge was surprisingly quickly ended) and this is repeatedly turned on and off, even if the charging indicator is already extinguished.

I'll get back to me if there are new facts. Right now I have this battery, at least in use. In the meantime, I put me to a second original battery, which did not show this "effect" in this form, of course.
