The 8GB RAM are installed 990FXA-UD3 SocketAM3 + with me on a GIGABYTE and function properly. I have (without large cooling fins) opted for the small version because I was not sure if the RAM fits under my ARCTIC Freezer Xtreme Rev. 2, this RAM variant does!
