I read all the books by this author except anatomy of a crime, I loved them all, but now I am very deçue, it is not worth "lay" a stone of 698 pages to get there .L'intrigue very thin and stitched with white thread, low credible characters by dint of excesses have become caricatures, especially the poor Sergeant Havers (which the author has for hating bully at this point) and the Italian words in italics scattered throughout the text to "true", I thought at times find myself in a novel and end Exbrayat unlikely and astonishing .A avoid at all costs for fans of the Inspector Linley .for me, I will buy more books this lady is at the point where I wondered if I was really that Georges had written this !!
