This second volume is in the same spirit as the first, dark and moving. Some lengths are felt at first, and then the action and revelations senchaƮnent late. The author has kept the same process in this volume, it alternates between the perspective of June and Day, which is very friendly to discover parallel their feelings and thoughts. In this book, the characters have a lot of doubts, and some passages seem long because they return a lot of questions in their head, making many lengths. As for the plot, it is very well done, we advance in this authoritarian world and inequality between classes. We review some of the characters of the first volume, and newcomers are emerging. A tome as well as the first, even if the new side is gone, I was very curious about the adventures of our characters. Given the end of this volume, I long to begin the third and final volume to a happy end, at least I hope.
