I discovered this book after seeing the movie. I recommend it to all who love Jeunet because he seems to have been heavily influenced by Japrisot. This novel, quite short, tells a love story embedded in the pain of war. From page to page, is approached Mathilde character a little mischievous but touched easily, so we can not help but to follow from page to page, desperately searching for his lover.
