I found this book very interesting for many reasons. First, the subject can be interesting: who has never wondered about the origins of life, earth ... who has never looked at the stars, wondering what was going on up there? When you read the prologue, in which Dominique Simonnet promises to tell us everything, to answer all our questions, we may be a little bit septic seeing the pages that follow, believe the sloppy, incomplete and therefore irrelevant, but once the story started, we realize that the promise has been kept. In the form of an interview with three successive scientists, Dominique Simonnet just ask the questions that the reader expects it poses and the response is complete, short and above all understandable. The three scientists answer using simple words and by imaging their words through metaphors are easy to imagine. I said, the book answers all the questions that may arise, but the answers lead us to ask other existential questions more personal and makes us ask ourselves what we really are in society current which, at the end of the book is presented as a real living being that each of us is a cell component. In conclusion, we can not remain qu'admiratif before this fascinating book that summarizes tens of billions of years in a few thousand words. A large picture book to read and reread.
