Where do I start? Maybe at the beginning ... the Nancy Sinatra makes the macabre ballad "Bang Bang". A cool, tarantinotypischen country song there with "That Certain Female". One of the many highlights is Track 3 "The Grand Duel", the tragic music of the flashback of Oren Ishii. A classic is definitely the catchy "Twisted Nerve" with my favorite tune to whistle. "Ode To Oren Ishii" is great, but has a problem: The Rapgesang priority annoying, because the music is the real thing in the background, what I want to hear ...
"Run Fay Run" is a quick and cool track, which is also played in flashback by Oren Ishii. In half of the music changes into a kind of Western melody that sounds very cool and was also used in the trailer. Then am back with a bomb track namely the "Green Hornet" - theme that accompanies the arrival of "The Bride" in Tokyo.
Immediately afterwards again a highlight in this song sampler namely the brute "Battle Without Honor and Humanity" probably the "Kill Bill" - topic! The arrival of Oren and its passage in the House of blue flowers would be only half as great, without this music! This piece is cool, unique and out tip. Not for nothing this track is used in countless Fernsehsenudungen and trailers ...
"Let Me Be Misunderstood DonŽt" is a true classic and is beautifully remodeled, because we have here now no longer in the head dancer, but the final battle between Kiddo and Oren. The guitars, coupled with the barrage are unique and describe in an ironic and exaggerated, but perfect way the great encounter that lives more dialogues, as of the Action.
With 11 titles there is the groovy "Woo Hoo" from the 5, 6, 7, 8Žs. Particularly worth mentioning are definitely the bittersweet "The Flower Of Carnage", the beautifully describes the case of Oren and the beautiful closing track "The Lonely Shepered" with the famous pan flute solo. This music captures the tragedy of "Kill Bill" one, as it does not create another piece!
The remainder consists of dialog sequences from the film and small tracks from The RZA, who composed the additional music. Funny but rather are unnecessary SFX pieces at the end ...
However, I also noticed that an important track (as already mentioned in a previous review) is missing: "Nobody but me" from "The Human Beinz", as the bride in the black and white setting on the ground with the two swords turns and then up the stairs running ... This song would really here with draufgemusst! I thought that was frankly a bit of a shame. While lacking some title, but the most important is represented. Who wants to have all the music, should make a note in the end credits, which pieces are missing on the soundtrack and these, via the Internet or elsewhere, obtain and grab this, because there are definitely a few gems (but only from the first soundtrack) such as the driving "From Man To Man (Death Rides A Horse)" by Ennio Morricone, the piece when Kiddo Oren challenges and Sophie mutilated.
Nevertheless, this soundtrack is the perfect musical Untermahlung for the brutal goings. A true jewel of music, even if it is a song sampler is "only", so create "Kill Bill" a breathtaking atmosphere with his music. Not only for fans a must!
