A concise critique of Richard Rorty's Philosophy

Fear of Knowledge: Against Relativism and Constructivism (Paperback)

Customer Review

The author offers some arguments from the viewpoint of classical philosophy against modern thought Concerning the impossibility of absolute truth and Accessing Knowledge. He quotes from selected essays by the American philosopher Richard Rorty to prove his point, That thesis postmodern thought is inconclusive and erroneous.

This is a solid work, if you look at the world and human thought from a 17th- to 19th-century-perspective. It induced me to start reading the main work of Rorty himself (Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature).
