A few nice title to many hangover. The title track "Blue Bell Knoll" suggests interesting, new paths, "Carolyn's Fingers" is gorgeous, and clearly the best song on the album. "For Phoebe Still A Baby" has charm, "Suckling The Mender" an enchanting chorus. The rest ripples but to my mind rather uninspired and too uniformly then (sometimes up to irrelevance). One has the feeling that you have already heard before - and better. Definitely not a milestone in CT Catalog and really only recommended for fans.
