Now a reality, beginning with the singleplayer: as is known, at BF rather a nice little bonus as an essential component, but is also not entirely unimportant to me. I personally have made the campaigns since Bad Company and including BF3 and 4 a lot of fun. Sure, the story was rather trite, but the mission design was nice and thoughtful in return for a COD it was not just about huge scripted events, but to tactical gameplay. Hardline's going the same way and extend the whole thing to the police setting: ideally arrest instead Around. This works ok and is doing at the beginning quite fun. The pleasure is clouded but by incredibly clichéd characters, a ridiculous story and dialogues that drive me to Fremdschäm-sweat. So much so that I had to force myself to play this thing until the end.
Quick go to the multiplayer. What has been done? Compared to its predecessor, the game has become faster. In my opinion, closer to COD as in previous BFs. Who, as I have, a tactical multiplayer shooter with police setting expects will be so disappointed in the point. By the smaller maps and the higher pace the multiplayer plays often hectic, unlike in the past, I find myself often, mow my cons thing without application from the hip.
The modes will make a world ago: just Heist and Blood Money offer beautiful strategic options to come to victory teamplay pays here in good style BF-far more than fast reactions and good Aiming. The maps are mostly appealing, but are by the smaller size too many "hot spots" in a heap, which often makes for chaos.
Another major point of criticism: there are far too few weapons. That may interfere with one more, the other less. For me, the free games of all weapons but was a great long-term motivator, especially in conjunction with demanding challenges. That now per class only 3-5 weapons are available, has disappointed me rough.
In sum Hardline is for me a nice idea to break out of the old military-setting and to provide some variety. But It remains the Battlefield features that were important to me, not enough loyal to convince to full line. Who has fun with the higher pace, to safely access, all the other veterans should prefer something auditions. I'll spend with Hardline any case far less time than with its predecessors, for the one or other fleet game but it is quite good.
