We do not read every day a book written by a Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology. The latter, even if he has more than 30 years, is intended as a reflection on life and on molecular biology and the philosophical articulation that entails for example the evolutionary level. Thus we find from some molecular biology recalls, with the knowledge of the time for which received some of developments and there is then a personal reflection on the part of the author. His reflections are enough top-flight this link between molecular genetics and evolution, which is very interesting, but sometimes at the expense of other factors playing the same effect and that the author completely ignores, focusing on its area favorite ... Missed voluntary or not, this "annoying" at times, but this and quickly forgotten face the depth of ideas supported by the author.
