This novel by Dean Koontz is atypical since it mixes the polar strings with the fantastic. The destinies of three groups of people (Micky, young woman out of jail and adrift, Leilani, disabled girl sporting a drug addict mother and a stepfather murderer, and Curtis, boy fleeing) will create a nice mix of genres and suspense that is growing to the end of the book. I liked this book a rather poetic and philosophical writing, I suggest you read by taking the time, because it requires a lot of concentration.
