Finally a book deal first number with passion and ease! Addressing this issue, which seems so easy yet turns out very quickly complicated, given that the biggest theories about prime numbers (including the famous Riemann hypothesis which is the red thread of the book somehow) prove to a level that is a priori inaccessible to persons not do math at a certain level (3rd year undergraduate 1st year of master). But De Sautoy manages the feat of making us very intuitively grasp this hypothesis and all other theorems and techniques discussed. Without being carried away and go in all directions De Sautoy describes the personality of the great mathematician who has worked more or less directly on prime numbers and we even managed to attach to it (including Episode Ramanunjan). Accessible to the greatest number, but at a small effort to understand some of the concepts they go fast enough (but are usually more or less minor) The symphony of primes public offering finally a complete and pleasant popular book to read.
