Structure:
The construction went slightly out of hand, real plug & play, even the transmitter for the wireless rear speaker went into service with no configuration. A manual was not necessary.
Appearance:
Is of course in the eye of the beholder, but mine the plastic style looks clear. The Product Photos from Sony itself had left a better impression, but I'm really pleased.
Sound:
The bass does not please me. He could come over and kick more rich, well that's a matter of taste. Depending on the setup of bass tends to roar something. The surround sound is otherwise really great, would have such a sound experience not expected, certainly not in such a bell wire, which is called speaker cables. Even listening to music is really fun as long as it is not toooo bassy!
Software / user:
The menu structure is very similar to the PS3, but is visually much (!) Kept simple. Simple, but functional. Overall, intuitive to use, only the setup for the optical input could have been designed speaking. I had to fall back on manual. The browsing of online content (have tested only Amazon Instant Video) is too slow, takes many times longer than via PC, smartphone or tablet
What I do not like:
- Intermediate Bass (see Sound-description)
- Optical input appears during setup in the Sound Settings to lose the connection to the transmitter during operation, has so far only in the case of restarting the station helped
- Long start time in normal mode. No 2min, but my PC is faster up
- Not a sound. Operating noise from the device is started (you can hear only in the immediate vicinity); Another fan, which is switched on when needed (to hear from the couch more often than I would like, WITHOUT BD-operation or 4K upscaling)
- One-Touch Mirroring only works with Sony Smartphone / Tablet, which is sent in the product description veiled
- NFC not for iPhone 5s and predecessors (since Sony can not for, but bothers me anyway :))
Conclusion: This set is the egg-laying Wollmichsau for the living room. Compared to other products you get offered a lot for your money, price / performance ratio so. My criticisms are indeed entitled, but this is more whining at a high level. For individuals who possess neither a BlueRay player still an AV Reciever, I speak from a strong buy recommendation.
Me personally disturb a few things and therefore hold 4 or 5 star for inappropriate.
What else you should know:
- LED lighting is unique to the white version (9200WW)
- All the "good" audio formats are not transmitted via HDMI but via the optical input. The box has two HDMI inputs though, but only an optical. It could be a problem if you want to connect, for example more than a console / PC
