I like Halo in general. The gameplay of the ingredients work well and gives the series a particular flavor (although many elements are simply taken from Marathon), the atmosphere "space opera" is good and the art direction is bold ... well, it must love the neon but it has the merit to think outside the box! Yet this first episode remains a purge. An authentic ordeal, especially in the second part of the campaign! "343 Guilty Spark," "The Library" ... the zero degree of level design with hours pacing the same corridor duplicated endlessly. This is nonsense, where is the fun? Many passages are very confusing and messy, sometimes you have empty rooms before progress, other times enemies arrive to infinity and you have to run to a checkpoint to enrailler the machine. Much frustration for a game largely overestimated in my opinion.
