There are 2 settings for the fan (3 if you count off as default)

The volume is at fan speed I still neatly on Stage II then already strong.
Anyone looking for a whisper-quiet unit is lifted not good at this hairdryer.
For a device that strength, however, that I think is perfectly acceptable. On strong airflow can be quite realize where the volume is.
To me the heat leap from stage II to III is a little too big. I would have preferred if stage I would have been the Thermoprotec level and for between TP and III still one step. Then the cold button would make more sense. So heat stage I and cold button is virtually identical.
