Compared to sound and microphone, I have no complaints or to report except that there is no insulation in the atria. This means that one can easily be disturbed by outside noise. And conversely, the others may be bothered by the noise coming out of the helmet ...
At installation, nothing simpler. Just connect the device to the USB port, turning it on, and it is functional. No very complicated operation to perform. Well, after, this is for a basic installation.
When you sell yourself three programmable keys ... This requires to visit the Logitech website to download the appropriate software. And on my computer ... Unable to install (not compatible with Windows 8.1 apparently). So the product's interest partially loses its charm.
The headset works via a USB cable. It can be used by wire or by wireless. This is especially nice since we have more freedom of movement and can still use the headset during charging. In addition, the base is very well done. Is wound around the cables which avoids ending up with nodes to undo and thereby modulate the length to suit our needs cable.
The light mute witness is extremely convenient. Contrary to what I imagined, seen very light even when playing. In the heat of the moment, sometimes press the "mute" button without realizing it (for example when the sound module with the knob inserted in the helmet). This feature prevented me many times to talk in the wind.
The integrated audio controls directly to the helmet via a knob is really a plus. It's much more convenient to look for a button by touch. There, one can not deceive nor be confused with another.
In short, I recommend this helmet but I regret not being able to program the keys and I remain dubious about the reduction of "unwanted background noise."
