What I absolutely did not like:
- No WiFi (but I knew beforehand)
- Very slow service
- Streaming capability is a joke (to say it's just the basic formats of DLNA are supported in order to achieve a DLNA Certified Solution it is only of distress JPEG (photos), LPCM (2-channel audio) and MPEG-2 (. play videos))
- Any network interface is too slow for a decent stream via "Map Network Drive" (streaming MKVs via WLAN adapter, or via network cable too data-intensive, that is halting and not very pleasant)
On the subject of DLNA - why you do something like this? So the function to curtail so so? Via USB, for example, is all played perfectly, this is in turn not possible via DLNA ... understand this a gaffe!
After a long Gerätsel as I can now play my data via Steam with my home theater system the support was contacted because me everything was confirmed what does not, to a solution we did not get, however.
That someone has a Home Server at home is certainly not the rule, but it should be pointed on something like this, something is for me a buying decision - or just do not ...
In short, I now streame with my LG TV (+ wireless dongle), home theater system I call but still my own.
Play the streams via TV works without problems, with an LG-Bly-Ray player folds everything easily ... But well, who is good and can do without like is very well served by the Panasonic home theater system to this function. :)
